It is with great pride and excitement that Albie takes on the position as Principal and CEO of GEMS Cambridge International Private School Sharjah. She has enjoyed a distinguished career in British and International schools spanning over twenty-three years on three different continents. As a respected and experienced Advanced Skills teacher; Head of Sixth Form; Senior Leader; Vice Principal and Principal, Albie has had the privilege of working with a variety of students across the world ranging in age from Early Years through to Year 13. Her outstanding contribution to school improvement was recognized by the Mayor of Hillingdon, London when she received an accolade for supporting her students in receiving outstanding GCSE results.

Albie is excited and eager to bring her skills as an educational leader to the new school and work with all stakeholders to ensure every child’s success. She has extensive experience in leading start up schools and not only brings with her an in-depth knowledge of the Cambridge system, but also the enthusiasm and passion to make this school distinctive and trailblazing.

Albie has an unwavering desire to improve the educational experiences of all students, guiding them to a future of excellence. Her career has been driven by her devotion to improve the life opportunities of young people and teaching staff. She is fully committed to use her knowledge gained through education and experience to assist our students, families and colleagues in their pursuit of academic success.
